Alan Morris’Journal Entries 2022.
These are the journal entries for Alan Morris for the year 2022. These were written to help me with my lousy memory so that I can look back at the year 2022 and remember what I did, the places I went and the people I met. These journals don’t start until week 18 because I hadn’t intended to do them this year, but because I got bored during COVID, I began to write them again.
The older we get, the more sad times we have, and I lost a few friends and members of my family when they passed away. To balance those sad times out, I had many great times. I went to some musical events and fiestas, and I went on my first-ever cruise.
I think in 2022, when I look back at it, there were more good times than bad times and I hope that my memory will dwell more on the happy times than the sad times.
This week was a strange week, it included several visits to the Doctor, my disability scooter running out of power whilst I was out on it, confirmation of my cabin number for next week's cruise, me singing at karaoke in a bar & watching my friend sing at a bar on another night.

This week started wet but it turned nice mid-week. I spent a lot of time cataloguing my genealogy records for my research & using the Lightroom training I did last week to help me do this. At the end of the week, I went to a birthday party but nearly went twice.

This week was a lot quieter than last week & a lot wetter. I did a lot of online training at home on Adobe Lightroom but did manage to get out to meet some friends I hadn't seen for a few years as well as see Arsenal beat Liverpool to go to the top of the Premier League again.

This week started wet & stormy but got a lot better. I went out for a meal on two different days, went to a wedding & wedding reception on a third day, had time to go to see a friend singing at a local bar on another day & to top it all off Arsenal beat Spurs 3-1.

This week I spent time with my sister Karen & her other half Brett. We went swimming each morning & sat feeding the fish as they swam around us in the Mar Menor. It was great to see each other again after not seeing each other for nearly four years.

This week begins in Albacete before coming back home to Los Alcázares. I do work on my balcony garden & install a solar-powered fountain. The big news this week is the loss of Queen Elizabeth II, the Queen is Dead, Long live the King.

This week was a fairly quiet week again. I didn't find out until the end of the week but another very nice man I know passed away this week, RIP Jim you will be missed but not forgotten.

This week was spent entirely in Los Alcázares, mainly working on my website but I did manage to read a lot, sing at karaoke, watch a lot of football & rejoice when Arsenal went to the top of the League.
