This week I arrived in Rio de Janeiro on the Costa Favolsa & spent 5 days there before flying home.
Week 48 of 2023.
Monday, 27th November.
Today was my first full day in Brazil & as my leg was aching a bit I stayed around the hotel or sat on Copacabana Beach opposite.
Tuesday, 28th November.
Today Gail & I booked a taxi & went to visit the Rio de Janeiro Botanical Gardens, I enjoyed the gardens & I am glad we went.

Wednesday, 29th November.
Today Gail & I went on a guided tour to see the Christ the Redeemer statue & Sugarloaf Mountain.

Thursday, 30th November.
Today was our last full day in Brazil & I spent the day on or around Copacabana Beach.
Friday, 1st December.
Today was the day I left Rio de Janeiro to fly back to Madrid in Spain.
Saturday, 2nd December.
Today I arrived back in Madrid. I said goodbye to Gail at the airport & as she flew back home & I got on a train back to Torre Pacheco to be picked up by June, who then took me back to my apartment.
Sunday, 3rd December.
Today was spent recovering at home after my holiday. I woke up at around 10 am with a cold & had to start popping pills for a cough. I put some washing in the washing machine, unpacked my case & generally began to get used to being back in my own home again.
In the afternoon I watched some television & some football but spent most of it asleep on the sofa under a blanket before going to bed at about 10 pm.
