In 2004 my friend Martin was 40 years old & for his birthday he decided he wanted to go to Amsterdam for a long weekend. Originally six of us should have been going but this soon became 3, with his friends dropping out because of pressure from wives & girlfriends.

Whilst living in Spain my mum used to come & frequently stay with me for a while. On one such occasion between Christmas 2005 & New Year 2006, I had an electric problem on New Year's Day. I contacted an electrician about rewiring the whole house & he said he could do it immediately but that it would take a couple of days. Not having any electricity, we decided to go to Gibraltar for a few days.

My friend Derek had very kindly got his wife a tour of the Emirates Stadium for her to go & see the hallowed turf. He had even managed to get the legendary Charlie George to be the tour guide.

The Nao Victoria was the first ship that sailed around the world. I went to see a full-size replica of it, with my friend Adrian, moored in Cartagena.

When I got my health insurance & travel insurance sorted out after moving to Spain I decided I would go away for a short break. After scouring the internet for somewhere to go for a couple of days I found a 3-day 2-night break to see the 'White Night of Flamenco' which is in Cordoba & consists of ten Flamenco shows on temporary stages around the city.

On 26th January I set off early to pick up my friend Karys for a day at Disney World. We had got one-day park hopper tickets & were going to see as much as we could. In the end, we saw a few attractions & enjoyed some of the rides at 3 of the parks, we had a great day.

Trip to Spain in 2014.
These articles are all about the trip I made to Spain in 2014. I had been living with my mum in her home in Fareham, England where I had been her carer. She had been ill for many years & this was intended to be a brief respite for me as well as her.
The trip had been booked for a long time but because my mum was ill I had decided to cancel the trip. Mum being mum, said she didn't want me to cancel & would be upset if I did. I went on the trip looking forward to the break, I didn't realise how much this time away would change my life forever.

In 2013 I went on an escorted tour of Peru. My dad had always wanted to go to Machu Picchu but because of his health reasons he never got to go. After he died I asked my Doctor if I could go & he told me I could but to go sooner rather than later as my health may cause me problems that would prevent me from going if I left it too long.
I went to my local travel agent & booked this escorted tour straight away. I went there partially to fulfil a dream my dad had, but I was really glad I went. These articles are all about my travel in Peru, the places that I went & the people that I met in Peru.

These articles are all about the escorted tour of the southern states of America that I did in 2012 with my Uncle Dave. The articles are about the places we stayed, the things we did & the places we visited.
We flew into Los Angeles in California & travelled by coach eastwards back across the southern states of America. We went through California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Louisiana, Missippii, Alabama, Florida, & Georgia. After we finished the escorted tour we flew to New York & spent a few days there before returning to England.

Queen Mary II & East Coast of America Trip in 2011.
These blogs are about the places I went to & the things I did when I took my mum to visit my house in Florida, the USA in 2011. We travelled from Southampton in England to New York on the Queen Mary II. We then drove down the East coast of America, to my home in Cape Canaveral, Florida & spent 3 weeks there before driving back to New York & returning to the UK on the Queen Mary II.

These articles are all about the first escorted coach tour I ever did. It started in Denver, Colorado & finished in Las Vegas, Nevada, but I also added on an extension to stay in San Francisco for a few days.
I visited many different National & State Parks, many National & State Monuments & saw some of America's greatest scenery & natural wonders before meeting a cousin I never knew I had until a few days before I went on this trip.
