Llewelyn Morris was my paternal grandfather, and I am sad to say I have no memory of him as he died when I was only two years old.

Llewelyn Morris served in the Royal Artillery. He enlisted in December 1940ย in the 511th Coast Regiment and was released from service in 1946, having served over five years. Llewelyn enlisted in Hartlepool, County Durham, England, and his first posting was to Paisley, Renfrewshire, Scotland, in 1941. He was then posted to Woolwich, London, England, in 1943 for aย brief period before being transferred to Gibraltar, where he spent approximately three years.
Death of Llewelyn Morris.
Llewelyn Morris died on the 28th of November 1969 in the family home in Chingford, Essex, England. His son, John Morris, was the named informant on the death certificate and was present at his death. His occupation at the time of death was listed as a General labourer.
He died from a Myocardial infarction (heart attack) caused by a Coronary thrombosis (blood clot in the heart). His death was registered on December 2nd 1969.
