Black Sails is one of my favourite tv programs because of my interest in pirates.

Real Pirates from Black Sails.

The program was one of my favourites because many pirates were Welsh, as were my family (Welsh not Pirates) & partly because it has some of the best looking women in any show. Notably the character Anne Bonny. Bonny was a real pirate & I wondered how many of the characters from the show were real & how many were fictional.

Many of the characters in Black Sails were fictional but the following characters that appear in Black Sails were all real pirates.
