They also contain my often told stories of how I have met 'celebrities' during my travels, memories of my past that sometimes come flooding back to me & the occasional joke or three.

This week was most notable for the loss of my friend & neighbour Russ Morgan. His favourite saying was 'It's nice to be nice' & he was certainly a nice man. He was always available when I needed any help & kept all his friends laughing with his stories & tales of his adventures in the Dominican Republic last year. RIP Russ, you will be missed.

The figures from my weigh-in are 17 stone 8lb. A loss of 1lb in my fifth week, At least it is heading in the right direction again after a couple of weeks of small gains I have a small drop in weight again.

The figures from my weigh-in are 17 stone 9 lb. A gain of 1 lb in my fourth week, Again I am not sure how maybe lack of exercise again. My motivation needs to kick in to do more exercise but it's hard. I seem to sit down to do half-hour genealogy research and not move for the whole day.

Due to the Coronavirus restrictions & the cold, I decided to stay at home in the warm this New Years Eve & I saw in 2021 with James Bond, unfortunately, M didn't make it too far into the New Year before she passed away. In true Hollywood style, all be it in Scotland in the snow, in a dingy family chapel, she died in James' arms.
