Summary: A week of cruising, excursions, cancelled tours, new friendships, and the start of a six-day Atlantic crossing towards Brazil aboard the Costa Favolosa.
Monday, 13th November
Today, I arrived in Cádiz and left the Costa Favolosa for a short guided coach tour of the city. It was nice to stretch my legs and see some of the local sights before returning to the ship.
Tuesday, 14th November
Today was spent onboard the Costa Favolosa as it sailed towards Tenerife. A relaxing sea day, enjoying the ship and the calm pace of cruising.
Wednesday, 15th November
The Costa Favolosa docked in Tenerife this morning. I had pre booked a tour to Mount Teide National Park, including a cable car ride, but the tour company cancelled it. Instead, I joined a shorter tour with Rosa, whom I had met onboard. It turned out to be a pleasant alternative, and we enjoyed exploring part of the island together.
Thursday, 16th November
Today was the first of six consecutive sea days as the Costa Favolosa began its Atlantic crossing towards Brazil. A full day of relaxing onboard.
Friday, 17th November
Today was the second of six sea days crossing the Atlantic. Another peaceful day enjoying the ship’s facilities and the open ocean.
Saturday, 18th November
Today was the third of six sea days crossing the Atlantic. The weather was good, and the ship continued steadily towards South America.
Sunday, 19th November
Today was the fourth of six sea days crossing the Atlantic. A quiet, relaxing day onboard as we continued our journey towards Brazil.
