Photographs, Cordoba 2022.
These photographs were all taken on my trip to Cordoba, Andalusia, Spain in May 2022. I went to see the Patio Festival for the first time. Whilst there I also wandered around Cordoba, more than I wanted really, I got lost frequently. I also spent some time looking around inside the Mosque of Cordoba, which is now actually a Cathedral.
This piece of Art shows a seated figure in front of another smaller figure of Jesus on the Cross. It is in one of the alcoves in the Cathedral that is inside the old Mosque.
The Mosque of Cordoba still remains in tact, the vast building & its Arches look amazing. The Cathedral of Cordoba was built inside the older Mosque.
