Shennong Stream Photos
This gallery takes me back to one of the most memorable parts of my Victoria Selina Yangtze River cruise, the quiet, narrow beauty of the Shennong Stream. After days on the wide Yangtze, drifting into this steep‑sided gorge felt like stepping into another world. The cliffs rose almost vertically beside us, the water turned a deeper shade of green, and every bend revealed something new.
These photos capture what I saw along the way: the hanging coffins high in the rock face, the small boats weaving through the gorge, and the sense of travelling through a landscape shaped long before any of us arrived.
