Hiroshima Photos
Hiroshima was one of the most moving stops of the entire tour. It’s a place you arrive at with a certain expectation, but the reality of being there, walking through the Peace Memorial Park, seeing the A‑Bomb Dome, and reading the stories behind the memorials, hits in a way that photos or history books never quite prepare you for.
The atmosphere is calm, reflective, and deeply human. People walk slowly, speak quietly, and take their time. It’s a city that carries its past with honesty, but also with a sense of hope and resilience that’s impossible not to feel.
These photos capture the parts of Hiroshima that stood out to me: the memorials, the park, the river, and the spaces designed for remembrance. They’re simple images, but they represent a powerful moment in the journey, one that stays with you long after you’ve left.
