Kawaguchiko Lake Photos
We visited Kawaguchiko Lake after leaving Tokyo behind, the landscape opened up and suddenly Mount Fuji felt close, even when it was hiding behind clouds. The lake has a calm, open feel to it, the kind of place where you find yourself stopping just to take in the view.
These photos capture the moments from that visit: the reflections on the water, the quiet paths, and the sense of space that you don’t get in the cities. It wasn’t a dramatic stop, but it was one of those peaceful places that stays with you simply because of how still everything feels.
Scroll through the gallery and you’ll see Kawaguchiko exactly as I experienced it, a gentle pause in the middle of a busy tour, with Fuji watching over everything, even when you can’t quite see it.
