Kyoto Photos
Kyoto was a city where history, tradition, and everyday life all blended together in a way that felt uniquely Japanese. After the fast pace of Tokyo and the movement of travelling between regions, Kyoto offered something different: temples tucked into forests, quiet streets, wooden houses, and those unmistakable flashes of orange torii gates.
These photos capture the places I explored around the city, from famous landmarks to the smaller corners that caught my eye along the way. Kyoto has a calmness to it, even when it’s busy, and there’s always something beautiful just around the next turn, a shrine, a garden, a bridge, or a view framed by trees.
This gallery is a collection of those moments: the colours, the textures, and the sense of stepping into a place where the past is still very much alive.
