Miyajima Island Photos
Miyajima Island was one of the most memorable and atmospheric stops of the tour, a place where the scenery, the shrines, and the sea all come together in a way that feels uniquely Japanese. Even before you step off the ferry, the island has a calm, almost spiritual presence, and once you arrive, it’s easy to see why it’s considered one of Japan’s most beautiful locations.
I wandered through the shrine areas, along the waterfront, and through the quieter paths, taking in the famous torii gate, the deer roaming freely, and the mix of forest and coastline that gives Miyajima its charm. It’s the kind of place where every corner feels like a photograph waiting to happen.
These photos capture the moments that stood out to me during the visit, the colours, the textures, the views across the bay, and the peaceful atmosphere that makes Miyajima such a special part of the journey.
