Summary: A relaxed day exploring Sydney began with a scenic walk to the Opera House, followed by a ferry trip to Manly with Christine and Tim. We enjoyed beach views, lunch at Betty’s Burgers, watched the Manly Triathlon, did a bit of shopping, and ended the day with a quiet bus ride back to the hotel and a well‑earned sleep.

Summary: Heavy rain changed the day’s plans, turning the Blue Mountains visit into a misty, poncho‑covered adventure with barely a glimpse of Katoomba Falls. After returning to Sydney, the afternoon at Sydney Zoo was far more rewarding, walking the full circuit, seeing native wildlife up close, and ending the day with a fun Chinese meal and laughs with Steve and Debbie before an early night.

A windswept stop at Birubi Beach set the tone before reaching Nelson Bay for a dolphin‑watching cruise that turned into a battle with rain, wind, and choppy seas, memorable even without dolphins. The day finished in Port Macquarie, where the group settled in for the night after a long, weather‑tossed adventure.

Summary: A long travel day from Port Macquarie to Brisbane brought a mix of drizzle, roadside stops, & coastal views. From Woolgoolga shakes to Byron Bay’s lighthouse and finally a warm Brisbane evening, it turned into a journey with plenty to note before settling in for the night.

Summary: I wasn't originally going to do the Stradbroke Island tour because it was an added extra that was quite expensive but some of my Australian friends told me it was a great place and to go. After going there, I was very glad I had it was one of the highlights of my tour of Australia and the first day I really enjoyed myself, previous days I had fun but today was fantastic.
