Celebrity stories from Alan Morris.
These articles are all about celebrities that I have met at various times throughout my life. I have never gone out of my way to meet these people I have just bumped into them throughout the normal course of my day.
All of these people were very nice & I thank them all for their company, their conversation & for the stories it allows me to remember.

I met Jim Quillen on a tour of Alcatraz when I was in San Francisco in about 1992. I had gone on one of the self-guided tours where you are given a headset with a narrated talk of the island & can do the tour at your own speed.

It was whilst I was watching the movie, Karate Kid, that I remembered meeting Pat Morita in Los Angeles, California. It was sometime in 1988 that I was in California, staying with friends in Anaheim, Los Angeles. Ron, who was a friend of my parents asked me if I wanted to go out for a drink at the British Legion bar he was a member of, I think it was in Long Beach.
