Doris Irene Daniels was my grandmother. She died two weeks before I was born, and I am sorry to say I never knew her at all. However, I have a few ghost stories about Doris that my parents swore were true.

Doris Irene Daniels was born on August 18th 1916, in the family home in Llewelyn Street, Ogmore Vale, Glamorgan, Wales. Her mother, Hannah Burrows, registered her birth in September 1916. Her father, Samuel Daniels, profession on her birth certificate was a Colliery haulier below ground.

Doris Irene Daniels married Llewelyn Morris at the Registry Office in Epping, Essex, England. They got married on August 3rd, 1935. The wedding certificate shows Doris lived in Heathcote Grove, Chingford, Essex, England. Her profession was entered as a Domestic Servant and her father, Samuel Daniels, was a Coal Miner.
The two witnesses on the wedding certificate were E. Davies and E. English.
