Llewelyn Morris.
Llewelyn Morris was my grandfather, he died when I was still only two years old & I am sorry to say I have no memory of him at all. I have also heard Llewelyn referred to as Llew, a shortened version of his real name & Jack. I can find no reason for him to have been called Jack.
Llewelyn Morris was born on 7 July 1911, in Cadogan Street, Nant-y-moel, Glamorgan, Wales. His mother, Margaret Jane Wylde, registered his birth in August 1911 whilst she was living at Oakfield Street in Nant-y-moel. His father, Benjamin Morris, was a Coal Miner (hewer).
