In Week 42 of 2024, I was touring Japan on an escorted tour, visiting and seeing some fantastic places.
Monday, 14th October.
Today, I left Tokyo and visited Mount Fuji on my way to Kawaguchi.
Tuesday, 15th October.
Today, I left Kawaguchi and travelled to Kyoto, visiting Shirato Falls and the Toyota car plant museum.
Wednesday, 16th October.
Today, I explored Kyoto and visited many places, including the Imperial Palace, the bamboo forest and Fushimi Inari.
Thursday, 17th October.
Today, I left Kyoto and travelled to Osaka, where I visited the Buddhist temple of Horyuji.
Friday, 18th October.
Today, I left Osaka to travel to Okayama. On the way, I went to the magnificent Himeji Castle.
Saturday, 19th October.
Today, I left Okayama and travelled to Hiroshima, where I went to the Peace Memorial Park, which was my reason for this trip.
Sunday, 20th October.
Today, I left Hiroshima and headed back to Tokyo on Japan's bullet train.
