When George Higgs was born in 1883 in Wedmore, Somerset, England, his father, William, was 27 and his mother, Charlotte, was 22. He married Ettie Emily Inall on January 9, 1904, in England. They had four children during their marriage. He died in January 1955 in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset, England, at the age of 72.
