When Alice Higgs was born on October 3, 1886, her father, William, was 30, and her mother, Charlotte, was 25. She married Ernest Williams on April 11, 1905, in Theale, Somerset, England. They had three children in 14 years. She died in October 1954 in Wells, Somerset, England, at the age of 68.
