Today, the NCL Spirit sailed the Endicott Arm, allowing us to view the Dawes Glacier.

I had another early morning appointment for acupuncture today. The doctor was fascinated by the fact that I didn't feel any pain in my right leg as he turned up the electric current running through the needles into my leg. I had to admit that I had a damaged nerve in that leg and couldn't feel most of the area he was sticking needles in on that leg. Once again, when the hour was up, the pain in my knee and leg had subsided quite a bit.
Today was a lazy day. I spent it taking a few photos of the ship and the scenery we passed by as we sailed up the Endicott Arm to see Dawes Glacier. It was imposing, but there was a little rain, which made viewing the glacier more difficult because of the dark clouds.
I was surprised to see how much ice had broken free of the Glacier and was floating down past us in the water. Some of the ice was an incredible blue colour and reminded me of the ice I had walked across on the Mendenhall Glacier.
I went to one of the shows in the Spinnaker Lounge onboard today. Again, it was ruined by a few drunk guests, so I retired early again to rest my legs before going for a short, gentle walk in the Tongass National Forest when we dock at Ketchikan tomorrow.
