When David Morris was born in 1829 in Pembrokeshire, Wales, his father, John, was 23 and his mother, Elizabeth, was 31. He had one son and three daughters with Hannah Lodwick between 1856 and 1870. He died in October 1903 in Cardiganshire, Wales, at the age of 74.
