When Benjamin Morris was born in 1838 in Pembrokeshire, Wales, his father, John, was 32 and his mother, Elizabeth, was 40. He had two brothers and one sister. He died in July 1879 in Cardigan, Cardiganshire, Wales, at the age of 41.
