Five members of one family living at Nantymoel, Glamorgan and a servant girl, were sentenced at Carmarthen Assizes yesterday for conspiring by false pretences to obtain from Margaret Davies, Elizabeth Jones and John Davies, of Tremain, Cardigan, £283.
The sentences were; Daniel Morris and Benjamin Morris (son), fifteen months imprisonment, Maria Morris (mother), James Lewis Morris (son), and Catherine Phillips (servant), twelve months, Daniel Thomas Rees (grandson), three months.
