I booked to go on an escorted tour of India in 2025. After the poorly organised trip I made to Japan in 2024 with LogiTravel, I decided to go with JustYou, a tour company I had used before and liked. India was another place on my bucket list, and this holiday would help me cross it off.
I landed in Delhi on the first day of my tour of India.
We toured sites in Delhi this morning, before travelling by coach to Jaipur.
Today, I was supposed to explore places in and around Jaipur, including the Amer Fort, aka Amber Fort.
We travelled by coach to Ranthambore today. I still felt a little unwell when we left the hotel in Jaipur, but I felt a lot better than I had yesterday.
Today, I joined an early morning safari to experience the wildlife and to see if I could spot a tiger in the Ranthambore National Park.
Today, we left Ranthambore and travelled to Agra. On the way, we visited the Chand Baori, which is located in the village of Abhaneri in Rajasthan.
The Taj Mahal is a symbol of eternal love and a masterpiece of architectural brilliance. Today, I visited this world-famous monument.
Today, we left Agra to travel to Lucknow by train.
We left Lucknow today, but before leaving in the afternoon, we visited the British Residency and the Bara Imambara.
Today, we were up very early, before the sun, to sail along the Ganges and see devout Hindus bathing and praying beneath the rising sun.
Today, we left Varanasi and flew to Delhi.
Today, we left Delhi on a train for our long journey to Amritsar.
Today, we went on a tour of Amritsar, visiting many places, having dinner and ending at the Attari–Wagah border for the banging of the Gates ceremony.
Today, we left Amritsar to fly back to Delhi.
Today, I left Delhi for my flight back to the UK and an overnight stay at Heathrow.
