Welcome to Alan Morris's 2021 Journals. Here, you'll find a collection of weekly entries that capture the highs and lows of my year. From personal reflections and travel experiences to everyday moments and challenges, these journals offer a glimpse into my life in 2021. Whether you're here for inspiration, curiosity, or just a good read, dive in and explore the journey of a year well-lived.
Week 26 of 2021 started well and went downhill quickly. My trust in people was shaken when I was mugged, and restored somewhat by the reaction of friends, neighbours and even people I hardly knew.
In week 25 of 2021, I did lots of swimming, met a few friends and did some shopping on Amazon for friends.
Week 24 of 2021, started with a bright blue sky, birds singing outside my apartment and the sun shining down on the righteous.
Week 23 of 2021 started with a cloudy, overcast sky and light rain again.
In week 22 of 2021, I met with different friends and did some Photoshop training.
In week 21 of 2021, I lost my friend and neighbour Russ Morgan. His favourite saying was 'It's nice to be nice' and he was certainly a nice man. He was always available when I needed any help and kept all his friends laughing with his stories and tales of his adventures in the Dominican Republic last year. RIP Russ, you will be missed.
Week 20 of 2021 started with a bright blue sky, warm and with lots more sun predicted.
Week 19 of 2021 started quietly, I had chocolate pancakes for breakfast before reading my Kindle at the beach.
Week 18 of 2021 started with a walk along the beach to my favourite place for a tostada, La Encarnacion.
