These journals don’t start until week 18 because I hadn’t intended to do them this year, but because I got bored during COVID, I began to write them again.
The older we get, the more sad times we have, and I lost a few friends and members of my family when they passed away in 2022. To balance those sad times out, I had many great times. I went to some musical events and fiestas, and I went on my first-ever cruise.
I think in 2022, when I look back at it, there were more good times than bad times and I hope that my memory will dwell more on the happy times than the sad times.
This week I was able to do a lot of swimming, more than 7 km over the 6 days I went swimming. I also went on a trip to see the Algar Waterfalls in Alicante.
As the week started and I didn't have any real aches or cramps in my leg and I intended to swim every morning. I managed to do this every day except for one, over the week I swam a distance of over 5.2 km.
This week another friend passed away, it seems the older we get the more regularly we begin to lose friends. RIP John, you will be missed. I do a lot of work at the computer this week, a little swimming and enjoy a concert outside my apartment.
This week I do a lot of swimming, buy some furniture, get some jobs done in my apartment, go for a curry with friends, get stung by jellyfish in the Mar Menor, and still find the time to see Madness in concert in Murcia and book a weekend away later in the year.
This week was a fairly quiet week and I didn't get any further than the bank in one direction and the office in the other direction.
This week I did some work in my kitchen, work in the office and a lot of work on my computer. As I worked so hard this week I then booked a Mediterranean Cruise for myself to go on later in the year.
This week starts off with me swimming in the Mar Menor and ends with me celebrating Wales's qualification to the World Cup Finals in Qatar.
This week I managed to start swimming more often, now that the weather is warming up I can get in the sea for my morning dip.
This week started slowly, but as I felt better, it meant a return to work to catch up with a pile of work that had built up in my absence.
