Monumento ai Caduti di Bagnoregio (War Memorial of Bagnoregio).
Alan Morris stood by the raised pathway to the dying City, Civita di Bagnoregio. Unfortunately, I was not well here and didn't cross the bridge and climb to the old city.
Civita di Bagnoregio, in Viterbo, in the Lazio region, about 120 kilometers north of Rome. Known as "the dying city" due to ongoing erosion, it is accessible only by a long footbridge from the nearby town of Bagnoregio.
