In Week 31 of 2024, I spent a lot of time working on my website. The highlight of the week was getting physiotherapy on my bad knee.
In Week 32 of 2024, I thought my physiotherapy had stopped until my insurance company told me the clinic wondered where I was as they had booked me a course of ten sessions, not the two I thought I had. I worked at home a lot, went swimming and met a friend for dinner on Sunday.
In Week 33 of 2024, I spent most of the week at home but went to the Jumilla wine festival with my friend Lisa and had lunch with my friend Debbie on Sunday. I bought some new software for my computer and watched the start of the new football season.
In Week 34 of 2024, I finished the course of physiotherapy on my knee. I met my friends Alison and Lottie for dinner and did a lot of work on my computer at home.
In Week 35 of 2024, I fell ill with a bug that was doing the rounds. I did manage to go to Cartagena for an appointment at the vaccination centre to learn which vaccinations I needed from my doctor for my trip to Japan.
In Week 36 of 2024, I spent a lot of time at home as I was unwell at the start of the week. By the end of the week I felt much better and went for a drink one day and a meal another night with good friends.
In Week 37 of 2024, I had several trips to the doctors for blood tests, which left my arms black and blue, and I had dinner with my friend Debbie at the Masala Cottage restaurant in Los Alcazares.
In Week 38 of 2024, I met my friend Alison for a chat and a drink in the sun. I had a very minor operation, and I did a lot of research on my family tree. I discovered that there was a slim chance that I could be a distant cousin to my friend Martin.
In Week 39 of 2024, I packed up one new printer for return and took delivery of another one. I did lots of family tree research, I went to a quiz at La Zona bar, and I picked up some money at a money exchange bureau for my trip to Japan.
During week 4 of 2024, I reached the ripe old age of 57, my baked bean birthday. I was cold most of the week, which is strange because the cold I have had for months has started to go.
In Week 40 of 2024, I spent most of the week in my apartment waiting for Celeritas to pick up a printer. I did lots of work on my family tree and got excited when my holiday tickets arrived.
In Week 41 of 2024, I spent the first half of the week doing genealogy research, and in the second half of the week, I set off for my holiday in Japan.
In Week 43 of 2024, I finished my tour of Japan and flew back to my home in Spain.
In Week 44 of 2024, I met some friends for a curry, did lots of work on my website, did some genealogy research and booked my next holiday, an escorted tour of India.
In Week 45 of 2024, I spent a lot of time at home. I met friends for a drink on three successive days at the start of the week and then didn't leave the house apart from shopping.
In Week 46 of 2024, I did some jobs around the home, met some old friends and went for dinner with another.
Week 47 of 2024 started bright but colder. I did a lot of work on my website and made lots of complaints to my bank in the UK. I did do an unexpected mystery tour of Los Alcazares at the start of the week, thanks to the local bus
...Week 48 was tranquil in part due to being unwell halfway through. I did lots of work on my website, had lunch with one friend, and arranged to have lunch with another friend next week. I also got tickets to see Simple Minds next year.
In week 49 of 2024, I met a few different friends, some of whom I hadn't seen for a while. The weather started to drop quickly in the evenings, and my heating began to be put on more regularly.
Week 5 of 2024 started slowly, waiting for a delivery, but it soon got exciting when I booked my next adventure. I hadn't planned to do anything, but I still went out to eat on four different occasions.
