Week 8 of 2025 started in Varanasi, India and finished over 7800 km away when I got back home to Los Alcazares, Spain.

Saturday 22nd February.
I was up around 5 am this morning. I had already asked what time I could get breakfast before getting a bus to Terminal 5 at Heathrow for my flight home. I quickly showered, packed up my case and took my belongings down to the hotel restaurant at about 5:30 am.
I was disappointed to find that even though I could get a coffee and some cereal, the cooked breakfast I had expected and looked forward to wasn't available until 6:30 am. I felt this was very late for a hotel that is only there to provide overnight stays for people arriving at or departing from the airport at all hours of the day. I had a coffee and a bowl of cereal, and at 6:15 am, I went outside to catch my bus to the Terminal.
The bus was on time, and I was soon at the airport looking for the Iberia check-in desk for my flight to Madrid. I was pointed in the right direction by someone at an information desk, and when I checked in, the lady at the desk told me that assistance to get me to the gate had already been booked and where to go to wait to be taken through security to the departures area.
Sunday 23rd February.
This week's exercise.
This is the exercise I managed this week. In an attempt to lose more weight before I go on holiday next year, I am going to try to get more exercise, but I have to be careful because I usually overdo it and end up hurting my legs more or making my ankle swell. Hopefully, recording my exercise like this will push me to get more exercise but not to do too much too quickly. I have put swimming and cycling on the record sheet, but I don't expect to do much of either before the warmer weather returns.
Walking is measured by steps taken.
Swimming measured by metres swam.
Cycling is measured by metres, and the bike is cycled with electric assistance.
