Escorted Tours

I will fly from Madrid to Tokyo today.

We stayed at Galveston Island for a few nights on our way through Texas, and I enjoyed my stay there.

Before we moved on to Shanghai, we would be visiting the Chengdu Panda Breeding & Research Centre. I think everyone on the trip has been looking forward to this visit. 

Today was why I came to China: to walk on the Great Wall of China and cross this off my bucket list.

Today, I will leave Hiroshima and return to Tokyo.

I had visited the Cape Kennedy Space Center in Florida many times, but this was my first trip to the Houston Space Center. Although there is more to see at the Kennedy Space Center, I preferred seeing the command centre in Houston.

Today, we had the morning at leisure in Shanghai before going on a cruise along the Huangpu River to view the Shanghai skyline from the river. After this, we went to Nanjing Road for some retail therapy.

Jekyll Island was beautiful, and if I ever win the lottery, I may buy a home there. The homes are all built on large plots of land and have beautiful, lush green surroundings. The beach was beautiful, and I enjoyed watching the deer playing in the dunes as I went for a sunrise

Today, I will leave Kyoto to travel to Osaka.

Today, I will spend a day exploring Kyoto.

After breakfast & the obligatory coca tea, we set off this morning for Cusco, it will be a long day in the coach. Our tour guide, Rosario, overslept this morning and was met by a rousing cheer when she climbed on the bus ten minutes late.

While staying in Las Vegas, Nevada, I stayed at the  Flamingo Hotel. I had been to Las Vegas a few times previously and have seen most of the tourist sites and stayed in lots of different hotels.

Today we went to see the Giant Leshan Buddha & this evening we went to see the Sichuan Opera & Folk Art show. 

After a long flight & long day yesterday, today felt like a lie-in when getting up at 7 am. After breakfast, I went for a short walk around Miraflores before leaving the hotel around 1 pm to begin our journey to Chincha.

My flight from Madrid to Lima was uneventful, but as normal, I could not sleep on the plane. After twelve & a half hours in flight, the plane landed in Lima & I was glad to get off & to have arrived in Peru.

I will travel from Los Alcazares to Madrid the day before my flight to Japan and stay overnight in Madrid.

I took my Uncle Dave with me to America in 2012. This would be his first visit to most of the places we would visit. The tour started with a few nights at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles.

I woke up today very excited; this was why I came on this trip. Today, I would be going to the place my dad always wanted to go but couldn't because of his health. It was the day I would visit Machu Picchu.

I went to Mission San Juan Capistrano with my mum and dad as a teenager, and I loved the gardens and the bells on the walls. 

I did enjoy walking around the San Xavier del Bac Mission and its grounds, it was very interesting.
