  • Endicott Arm and Dawes Glacier, Alaska.

    Today, the NCL Spirit sailed the Endicott Arm, allowing us to view the Dawes Glacier.

  • Hawaii Volcanoes National Park

    Today, I took an escorted tour of the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.

  • Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii.

    Today, I woke up in my hotel at Waikiki Beach in Honolulu. I was still a bit tired but felt better than last night.

  • Icy Strait Point, Alaska.

    Today, I booked a Whale Watching and Bear Search excursion while we were in Icy Strait Point, Alaska.

  • Journey to Madrid.

    I was up early today to go to Torre Pacheco to catch a train to Madrid for an overnight stay.

  • Juneau, Alaska.

    Today, I went on a Helicopter ride to the Mendenhall Glacier, where the helicopter landed, and l got out to look around the glacier.

  • Kauai, Hawaii.

    Today, I went on an escorted tour of Kauai, including a drive through Kauai to the Wailua River. I cruised the river and stopped to see the Fern Grotto before continuing to Kilauea National Wildlife Refuge. 

  • Ketchikan, Alaska.

    When the NCL Spirit docked in Ketchikan, Alaska, I took an escorted tour of the Tongass National Forest.

  • Madrid to Los Alcazares.

    Today, I made the final part of my journey from Madrid to Los Alcazares.

  • Madrid, Amsterdam, Los Angeles, Honolulu.

    Today was a long day spent flying from Madrid to Honolulu via Amsterdam and Los Angeles.

  • Madrid, Spain.

    My flight from Vancouver arrived back in Madrid today. 

  • Maui, Hawaii.

    Today, I went on a catamaran to Molokini Crater to go snorkelling, hoping to see lots of fish and some turtles.

  • NCL Spirit, Pacific days 1-5.

    Today, we left Hawaii and began sailing the Pacific Ocean towards Alaska. It was the first day of 5 that we spent at sea.

  • Sailing to Vancouver, Canada.

    Today was my last full day onboard the NCL Spirit as it sailed towards Vancouver in Canada.

  • Skagway Alaska.

    Today, I went on an escorted tour in Skagway. Madam Shirley Wood from the Red Onion Saloon showed me around the small town.

  • Vancouver, Canada.

    Today, the NCL Spirit docked in Vancouver, and the cruise part of my trip came to an end.

  • Waimea Canyon, Kauai, Hawaii.

    Today, I went on an escorted tour to see the Waimea Canyon.
