On day 3 of my cruise around the Mediterranean, the ship docked early morning at the Port of Savona. I had initially booked a half-day tour around Genoa, but Costa Cruises cancelled the day trip, and I spent the day onboard the ship instead.

In 2011, my Mum was told she couldn't fly due to an ulcer on her leg. As she wanted to go away and see my apartment in Cape Canaveral, Florida, I booked two return trips on the Queen Mary 2 to New York.

I had seen an advert saying that Rod Stewart was performing at the Bullring in Murcia & I got myself a ticket to go & see him. I decided to go to Murcia earlier in the day, have a look around, see the show, stay overnight in Murcia & go home the next day. 

In 2003 I went to Rome with my friend Paul Dunne for a long weekend trip. I had never been to Italy before and was looking forward to spending time in Italy's capital city, Rome. 

On day 4 of my cruise around the Mediterranean, I arrived at the Port of Civitavecchia in Italy. From here I took a full day's excursion into Rome.

I had spoken to my friends & family that live in Los Alcázares about the Tapas routes that they have been on, but I had never been on one.

Today I woke up in the port of Savona in Italy ready to take a coach trip to the villages of Noli & Finalborgo.

My friends Bernice & Angelia said they were going river rafting on the Segura river & asked me if I wanted to go. I had been before with my friend Mick & decided to go again as it is great fun. We were joined by other friends from Los Alcázares & the

Segway tour of Madrid.

I had quite a good time on this holiday before going to hospital. The trip itself changed my life forever. Whilst I was in hospital in Barcelona, my mum died in England, and I only just came out the other side of it alive.

Today I woke up in the port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife & went on a coach tour of the Island.

While browsing the Internet, I saw the group, Texas, were playing in Albacete. I had never been to see either, so I decided to travel to Albacete and see the group. Kill two birds with one stone, as the saying goes.

The Nao Victoria was the first ship to sail around the world. With my friend Adrian, I went to see a full-size replica of it moored in Cartagena. 

I have met Tom Jones several times in America & the UK & have also seen him perform in Spain.

I have always been an Arsenal fan & I used to go to a lot of Arsenal games, as did Tom Watt.

Today I began my holiday & cruise to Rio de Janeiro, I set off from Los Alcazares to travel to Barcelona.

I used to go to the 'Who Do You Think You Are Show' every year when it was held at Earls Court in London. I used to travel to London & stay with my Uncle Dave for the weekend whilst going to the show. He has now moved to Birmingham & strangely the '...

Today the ship arrived back in Valencia, Spain & I travelled back to Los Alcazares.
