Aguilas Carnival
At the start of the year in 2018, whilst taking part in a local quiz at La Zona mini-golf some of my friends asked me if I would like to go & see the Aguilas Carnival in February.

Algar Waterfalls
Last week my friend Diane was telling me about a trip she planned on going on, to see the Algar Waterfalls. By the time we parted company, she had convinced me it would be a good day out and booked an extra place for me.

Barcelona Hospital.
This was not where I expected to be waking up in Barcelona. My leg was giving me a lot of pain now, and they were treating it for an insect bite after last night's Doppler scan showed no thrombosis, and the x-ray showed no breaks.

Board the Costa Favolosa.
Today I wake up in Barcelona at the hostel Benidorm before making my way to the port & boarding the Costa Favolosa for my cruise to Brazil.

Bob Dylan in Alicante.
I like Bob Dylan's music & when I saw he was appearing in Alicante I decided to get a ticket & go to see him in concert. I may not ever get the chance again to see this poet, musician & songwriter.

Bodega Tour
I saw this trip advertised on Facebook, and as I have decided to try doing many more day trips I booked this one up. It included the coach trip, breakfast, a tour of the Bodega, a four-course meal with wine, and then a visit to the village of Alcala del Jucar.

Boxing Day Swim 2022.
While browsing Facebook in November 2022 I saw an advert from the Los Alcazares town hall advertising a lunchtime swim that they were organising on Boxing Day 2022. I thought it looked like fun and decided to give it a go.

Brazil to Spain.
Today was my last day in Brazil & I left Rio de Janeiro to fly back to Madrid Spain.

Today, the ship arrived in Ceuta, an autonomous Spanish city in North Africa.

Cordoba Patio Festival.
I saw pictures of the Cordoba Patio Festival and decided to go and see it in 2022. I like Cordoba, having been there before for the Flamenco Festival 2016.

Today, I joined the MSC Lirica for my cruise.

Today I boarded my cruise ship the Costa Diadema in Valencia for my cruise around the Mediterranean.

Day 1 of my cruise around the Mediterranean started when I was picked up by a coach in Los Alcázares and driven to Valencia to board my ship, the Costa Toscana.

Exploring Cadiz.
On day 4 of my holiday, the Costa Favolosa, docked at Cadiz, Spain & I went ashore for a prebooked tour.

Fareham to Madrid.
I woke around 5:45 this morning, 15 minutes before my alarm went off. I packed my last belongings to take to Spain, made sure mum was okay & then sat watching television until my friend Les arrived to pick me up to take me to Fareham train Station.
