Today I woke up in the port of Palma de Mallorca, Spain.

I woke early & had some breakfast in one of the breakfast buffets onboard the ship before disembarking & meeting the guide for my guided tour of Palma today.

On day 3 of my cruise around the Mediterranean, the ship docked early morning at the Port of Savona. I had initially booked a half-day tour around Genoa, but Costa Cruises cancelled the day trip, and I spent the day onboard the ship instead.

In 2011, my Mum was told she couldn't fly due to an ulcer on her leg. As she wanted to go away and see my apartment in Cape Canaveral, Florida, I booked two return trips on the Queen Mary 2 to New York.

Today, we left Marrakech, Morocco, to return home to Los Alcazares, Spain.

Today was our second day at Copacabana Beach, and Gail and I visited the Botanical Gardens in Rio de Janeiro.

Today we arrived in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil & left the Costa Favolosa to make our way to Copacabana Beach for our stay there.

I had seen an advert saying that Rod Stewart was performing at the Bullring in Murcia & I got myself a ticket to go & see him. I decided to go to Murcia earlier in the day, have a look around, see the show, stay overnight in Murcia & go home the next day. 

In 2003 I went to Rome with my friend Paul Dunne for a long weekend trip. I had never been to Italy before and was looking forward to spending time in Italy's capital city, Rome. 

On day 4 of my cruise around the Mediterranean, I arrived at the Port of Civitavecchia in Italy. From here I took a full day's excursion into Rome.

Today was our sixth day crossing the Atlantic Ocean on board the Costa Favolosa.

Today was our fifth day crossing the Atlantic Ocean on board the Costa Favolosa & the day we sailed across the equator.

Today was our fourth day crossing the Atlantic Ocean on board the Costa Favolosa.

Today was our third day crossing the Atlantic Ocean on board the Costa Favolosa.

Today was my last full day onboard the NCL Spirit as it sailed towards Vancouver in Canada.

Today the Costa Favolosa docked in Salvador & I went on a very short & poor tour of the area, the guide was the worst guide I have ever had anywhere in the world.

We didn't spend much time at San Diego Zoo, and for that, I was grateful. At the time of our visit, the zoo was looking very old and in my opinion, needed closing down.

I added a stopover in San Francisco, California, to my Monuments & Parks tour in 2011 and went there after visiting Las Vegas.
